We all see the changes in partnering that have happened over the last 10 years as everything has moved to the cloud, distribution and reselling is consolidating, cloud-based APIs make it simple to plug and play partner solutions, and resell is being replaced by co-selling with partners.
Here’s the rub: While cloud technology is there for partner solutions to plug and play, people don’t plug and play quite so easily.  Getting all of the players across multiple partners to work together as a cohesive sales team is nearly impossible.  Getting all of your and your partners’ team working together is critical to closing co-sell business together.
