Joe Miles joined Google Cloud in August 2020, and is responsible for the industry solution strategy for Google Cloud in the healthcare and life sciences (HCLS) industries consisting of payer, provider, biopharma, med tech and wholesaler industry segments. Joe has spent the last two plus decades working in the HCLS space focusing, initially, on operations, supply chain, manufacturing, sales and compliance areas while, more recently, leveraging his operational experience to enable digital transformations across the healthcare value chain including physician/patient experiences, interoperability, personalized therapies and outcome based reimbursement models.
In his Google Cloud Industry Solution Management role, Joe works closely with the Google Cloud product engineering AI/ML, API, Interoperability, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams while collaborating closely with customers to identify, develop and build solutions for Google Cloud’s healthcare and life sciences ecosystem. .
Lastly, Joe is a proven technology leader known for driving business strategy while building solid and sustainable relationships with customers and partners. Before Google Cloud, Joe spent more than 17 years at SAP serving as General Manager of the Global Health Sciences industry.
