Sabina Zafar is a technology leader at Oracle, focused on delivering business value to companies, customers and communities alike through digital transformation initiatives. An exceptional eye for finding and developing high-performing technical talent, while building an environment and culture that expects the highest levels of customer outcomes. She is an expert relationship builder, creating a foundation of trust leading to high-performing engagements.
Sabina's passion is advancing equity for women and girls by empowering them to pursue STEM careers through advocacy, education and mentorship. She currently belongs to the Oracle Women's network and is a past volunteer with GE Girls, Girls Who Code, the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing. In addition, she has hosted several Women in Technology events to build a community for Women in Tech. She has served on the Board of Directors for San Ramon American Association of University Women and the Dougherty Valley Rotary Club.
Currently, she is an elected Councilmember for the City of San Ramon. She serves on the advisory board of Bishop Ranch Intelligence Innovation Accelerator (BRIIA) and Ariel Intelligence Solutions. Sabina is also involved with the South Asian start-up ecosystem through speaking engagements and 1-1 mentorships with startups. She is never too busy to grab a coffee and talk tech with founders and residents.
